Description
The Enviro-tec PC-01-0243 Drain Pan Float Switch records condensate levels and interrupts equipment operation when excess water accumulates in the drain pan. Its internal float mechanism rises with increasing water levels and activates an electrical switch to stop cooling operation before overflow conditions occur within HVAC systems such as fan coil units, ceiling-mounted air handlers, packaged terminal equipment, and cooling assemblies. Mounted inside or adjacent to the condensate drain pan where continuous water-level monitoring is required for moisture protection. Its automatic shutoff response reduces the risk of water leakage, prevents drain-related equipment damage, and supports safer condensate management.
