Description
The Emerson-Flow Control (Alco) 1838420 2-way-normally closed solenoid valve is an ideal valve for controlling the flow of fluids in different HVAC systems. This valve has a 7/8” sweat connection and works on a 24 volt coil the body is brass, while the internal parts are made of stainless steel to give the valve strength and to prevent it from rusting. It operates through blocking of flow of liquid or gas when non-powered when it receives an electrical signal, the internal plunger rises to allow fluid to flow. This design is especially useful in air conditioning systems, refrigeration, and industrial process control where accurate flow control is essential.
