Description
The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 091034 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is designed for air conditioning and refrigeration systems and particularly for R410A refrigerant. This valve has a refrigerant capacity of 5-tons and a connection size of 1/2” × 5/8” ODF to control the flow of refrigerant to achieve better system efficiency. It has a max of 5 feet of capillary tube for installation. The valve is also adjustable for superheat and helps the system to run more efficiently and protect the compressor from damage. Advantages are better energy utilization, stable temperatures, lower chances of system breakdown.
