Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 066137 Welded Oil Separator is an essential warming unit that works efficiently in refrigeration and air conditioning systems. This welded oil separator has a connection size of 7/8” ODF and removes the excess oil from the refrigerant lines hence allowing free circulation of the refrigerant. It works by using centrifugal force to supply the oil coolers and thereby; separate the oil from the refrigerant so that the clean refrigerant cascades through the system, in the meantime directing the contaminated oil to the compressor in order to be lubricated again. This product is widely applied in different types of HVAC systems, such as commercial refrigeration systems and chillers to ensure the normal operation of the systems.
