The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 064778 1/4 ” M x 1/4 ” F SAE Filter Drier is used to improve the performance of HVAC systems. This filter drier works through the removal of moisture, acid and other contaminants from the refrigerant as needed to prevent corrosion and maximize performance in air conditioning and refrigeration systems by trapping damaging particles. The copper connections provide long lasting and are not easily corroded while the compact design enables the unit to be easily installed in different HVAC systems.
