Description
The Eclipse 501225 5BV-AB is a 1.25-inch automatic butterfly valve intended for use in a variety of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning applications. This works by turning a disc around a central axis to control the flow of liquids or air within a system. Like a wide-open gate, the disc permits unhindered passage when fully opened. At the reverse the same direction, the flow is restricted or stopped entirely by partially or totally shutting the disc. This automatic butterfly valve has a unique design known as full port, which means that when the valve is fully opened, the diameter of the opening through it matches the diameter of the pipe it attaches to. This reduces pressure drop and flow resistance in comparison to valves with smaller internal diameters.
