Description
The Dwyer Instruments IP-42 Current to Pressure Transducer is a multifunctional device that bridges the electrical and pneumatic control systems. It works by perfectly translating a 4–20 mA electrical current input into a proportionate pneumatic output pressure. Pneumatic HVAC equipment, both new and old, can be integrated with the IP-42 to provide enhanced precision, efficiency, and centralized control over important system parameters. This makes it an essential tool in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, where it can control and regulate pneumatic actuators, valves, dampers, and other components. The IP-42 provides advantages such as compatibility with older HVAC systems that use pneumatic controls, higher accuracy in airflow and pressure management, and, ultimately, increased energy efficiency within the system.
