Description
The Dwyer Instruments DHC-003 is a multifunctional electronic instrument that measures and monitors pressure differences in HVAC systems, specifically microscopic variations of 0 to 0.5 inches of water column. It uses a diaphragm that bends in reaction to the pressure differential applied across it, and is frequently referred to as a differential pressure switch. An integrated electrical switch flips, setting off an alert or starting a correction action, when the pressure differential reaches a predefined setpoint. It guarantees proper airflow by monitoring pressure within ductwork, reducing filter clogging by detecting excessive pressure decreases, and maintaining crucial regions at the desired pressure. By maintaining these elements under control, the DHC-003 helps enhance HVAC system performance and efficiency.
