Description
The Danfoss 121L0601 is a scroll compressor that is built to handle large loads of cooling jobs. Currently, this model has a cooling capacity of 94,000 BTU, making it suitable for large commercial or Industrial use in HVAC. This compressor specifically, is driven by a 460V electrical supply and utilizes R-407C refrigerant for heat exchange. In the case of a scroll compressor the fluid that is refrigerant in this case has to be compressed between two rotors which are usually in the form of spirals. The refrigerant pressure increases while the temperature increases as the refrigerant is compressed.
