Description
The Danfoss 068U1973 Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) regulates R410A refrigerant flow into a compatible evaporator according to changing evaporator conditions. Its externally equalized design uses an external pressure connection to account for pressure drop through the evaporator, allowing the valve to control refrigerant flow more accurately in HVAC systems. The 3/8″ x 1/2″ connections provide interfaces for compatible refrigerant tubing. The valve installs at the evaporator inlet with the sensing bulb and equalizer connection correctly positioned. This metering action supports controlled refrigerant distribution, proper superheat, efficient heat absorption, and stable cooling operation across varying loads.
