Description
The Danfoss 067N9528 Thermostatic Expansion Valve regulates refrigerant flow into the evaporator coil at a 6-ton capacity, metering R454B refrigerant through a 1/2″ inlet and 5/8″ ODF outlet to maintain the correct superheat level at the evaporator outlet. Its thermostatic sensing bulb responds to refrigerant temperature at the evaporator exit, adjusting the valve opening to match refrigerant flow with the actual cooling load without electronic control input. Rooftop units and split systems in HVAC systems seat this valve between the liquid line and evaporator inlet to sustain efficient refrigerant distribution across the coil face during and part-load cooling conditions.
