Daikin-McQuay 4023332 Air Filter is a filtration element that is used to eliminate the airborne particles in the airflow before it enters the system. It operates by forcing the return air through a mesh filtering surface which traps pollen, dust and other contaminants and assists in keeping the air cleaner as it passes through the system in mini-split HVAC systems. The filter is placed in the internal unit filter slot, whereby the incoming air flows through the screen to the internal components. Catching particles in the filter is beneficial to protect the coil and fan assembly against accumulation and facilitates the maintenance of a steady airflow and better indoor air quality.
