Description
The Daikin-McQuay 1976047 Coil Motorized Valve controls the flow of chilled or hot water through hydronic heat exchanger coils in air handling units. Installed directly into hydronic supply piping loops within HVAC systems, the motorized actuator uses an electric motor to position the internal valve plug relative to the valve seat. Receiving low voltage control signals from the main controller adjusts the valve opening to modulate fluid volume through the coil. Regulating water flow controls coil heat exchange rates, maintains targeted space temperatures and supports balanced hydronic flow distribution throughout conditioned zones.
