Description
The Cutler Hammer-Eaton C440B1A100SF3 Electronic Overload Relay is used to check the current of the motors and eliminate the possibility of damage in case of overload in HVAC systems. It mainly works to sense an overcurrent or phase imbalance and close the control circuit to de-energise the motor in case of threshold violation. The internal electronic sensing system is a constant measurement of current draw, and it is much quicker and more accurate than thermal relays. It entails fitting the unit in the motor starter, or control panel and connecting it to the motor control circuit as specified.
