Description
The Copeland ZB45KCE-TF5-950 is a Scroll compressor product that is ideal for HVAC systems and has been designed for use mostly in HVAC systems. This compressor has a capacity of 45,000 BTU and is powered by a 200-230V, 3-phase electrical supply it uses two nested scrolls, one of which is stationary and the other of which orbits to compress the refrigerant gas. When the orbiting scroll is in motion, it forms chambers of gas which gradually reduce in size and increase pressure and temperature as the gas is compressed towards the discharge port. This design has several advantages, higher efficiency, lower noise emission, and better reliability because of the smaller number of moving parts compared with reciprocating compressors.
