The Copeland Comfort Control (Alco) 060824 Accumulator is a suction-line refrigerant management component designed for 4-ton capacity cooling equipment using R22 refrigerant. In HVAC systems used in air conditioning and refrigeration setups, it separates liquid refrigerant from vapor before it reaches the compressor, reducing liquid carryover. It is installed on the suction line using a 3/4 inch ODF connection for secure brazed integration. Internal flow design supports oil return and steady refrigerant circulation, improving compressor protection and maintaining consistent system operation during load variations.
