Description
The Copeland Comfort Control (Alco) 049472 Suction Line Filter Drier Shell is a refrigerant component protector used in commercial HVAC systems. It contains a structure of the filter/drier media and is used in the suction line, which has a 2-5/8″ outside diameter connection. The shell enables the refrigerant to be passed through the internal desiccant and filtration material eliminating moisture and particulates in the refrigerant flow. This is to ensure the refrigerant conditions remain clean, assist in stabilizing pressure operation, and coordinate the refrigeration circuit operation.
