Description
The Conbraco Industries 1040805 Hot Water Relief Valve responds to excess pressure buildup by opening its seat and channeling water out through the discharge port before the circuit reaches a hazardous condition. At 30 PSI, the internal spring yield, lifting the seal and allowing flow until the pressure settles back within the safe operating range. Hot water storage units, boiler supply lines, and pressure-controlled heating circuits across HVAC systems accept this valve at the 3/4-inch male threaded inlet. The 3/4-inch female outlet connection directs discharge toward a floor drain or relief line, keeping released water away from surrounding equipment
