Description
The Cleveland Controls AFS-273-021 Air Flow Switch meant for use in HVAC systems. It has a fixed set point of 0.5” WC which measures airflow in ducts. If the airflow goes below this setpoint, the switch produces a signal, which is used to sound an alarm or turn off equipment. This essential task saves damage on HVAC items such as heating coils or fans which may damage due to inadequate airflow. Advantages include ensures the smooth running of the system, avoiding expensive repairs because of problems with airflow, and providing suitable environment to the users of the building through provision of adequate fresh air and suitable temperatures within the HVAC system.
