Description
The Carrier ZR54K5E-TF5-830 Scroll Compressor reduces a low pressure refrigerant vapor before sending it toward the condenser. Its orbiting, and fixed scrolls work together to progressively reduce the volume of refrigerant within the compression chamber, raising the vapor to a higher pressure for discharge. The compressor connects to the suction and discharge piping and the electrical circuit within the equipment. This arrangement circulates refrigerant between the evaporator, and condenser, supporting heat absorption, and heat rejection during the cooling cycle in HVAC systems. Continuous scroll compression maintain refrigerant movement through the circuit, and supports steady evaporator operation as the equipment runs.
