Description
The Carrier P291-1504 Oval Run Capacitor is developed for Carrier HVAC equipment for instance air conditioners or furnace blower motors. This capacitor is oval-shaped and measures approximately 1/8” in length, 2” in width, and 4” in height and provides an electrical to the motor when it starts. Look at it as a small pile of stored energy that can be used when needed. Motors have an initial load in starting up and to overcome this a booster is needed for the standard power supply. The capacitor fills the time gap by giving a brief short circuit, which makes the motor start well and efficiently.
