The Carrier LH32RF080 Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LP) Orifice Model 46, is a relatively smaller part that is a necessity for Carrier gas furnaces that use propane. This opening is approximately 0.3” in length, 0.4” in width, and 0.7” in height, vital to safe and effective heating. LP gas gets into the furnace through the 46 orifice which controls the rate at which LP gas gets into the furnace. This controlled flow affords the better air to fuel ratio for combustion within the burner, raising the heat output and at the same time minimizing waste gas. The LP Orifice increases safety and efficiency.
