The Carrier KH71KJ150 Accumulator stores excess refrigerant and protects the compressor within HVAC systems by preventing liquid refrigerant from entering the compressor during low‑load conditions. It acts as a storage in the suction line, and it separates the liquid and the vapour, and then the refrigerant is sent back to the compressor. It is available to be used in residential and commercial HVAC systems, such as air conditioners, heat pumps, and is mounted in the refrigerant circuit between the evaporator and the compressor. It helps stabilise the flow of refrigerant to ensure appropriate vapour return, consistent cooling performance.
