The Carrier HR46TN008 Master Motor VFD is a variable frequency drive equipment that is used to control the speed and torque of the HVAC system applications such as chillers, pumps as well as fans. It operates with control of the electrical power frequency delivered to the motor to control the speed. This provides a measure of control in the operation of the equipment hence improving the energy efficiency, operating and equipment durability. Additional features included in the VFD include; soft start/stop, overload protection, and fault diagnosing that makes the HVAC system more reliable and safe to use.
