Description
The Carrier HN52AA001 is a 2-pole contactor, a switch that applies electronics and magnetism to regulate electrical currents in an HVAC. It uses 24VAC voltage and can let through up to 15A of current. When triggered, the contactor makes or breaks the circuit and switches on or off other high-voltage loads such as compressor or fan motors. This contactor is located in numerous HVAC equipment such as heating and cooling systems. The advantages of using this contactor are that control circuits are not directly connected to the power circuits, hence increasing safety, reliability can be enhanced through remote switching and they are compact.
