Description
The Carrier HK30WA319 Variable Frequency Drive that is used in commercial HVAC systems. Unlike the simple on/off switches, a VFD controls the speed of the motor that drives fans, compressors, or condenser units. This enables the aggression of the airflow and the measure of the cooling capacity as well. The VFD can control the motor’s frequency, and therefore adjust the system’s performance depending on the requirements at a given time. This particular model is designed for three-phase operation at 380-460 volts AC and 60 Hz frequency. This is where VFDs such as the HK30WA319 come with a lot of advantages through fine-tuning the motor speed.
