The Carrier HD52MM122 ECM Blower Motor is a variable-speed motor that is used to propel blower assemblies to circulate air in HVAC systems in air handlers and furnace units. It operates on the concept of electronically commutated motor technology which varies the speed according to the control signals so that airflow can react to the varying system demand. It is programmed to interface with control boards and blower housings and is linked to system electronics to coordinate its operation.
