Description
The Carrier HC42GQ234 Condenser Fan Motor is used in air conditioning and heat pump elements in HVAC systems. This 1/3 HP motor transforms electrical power into mechanical rotation to move the fan of the outdoor unit, forcing air through the condenser coil to release heat in the cooling process and absorb heat in the heating process of the heat pump. It is installed in the condenser section and assists in the appropriate heat exchange of refrigerant and also helps to ensure consistent system operation by ensuring it has the airflow needed during normal cooling and heating operations.
