Description
The Carrier EA36YD021 thermostatic-expansion valve used in refrigerant at HVAC applications. It is a bi-metal spring that changes with the temperature changes. When the temperature at the evaporator coil is low the TXV opens to allow more refrigerant to pass through to enhance cooling process. On the other hand when the temperature increase the TXV reduces the refrigerant flow to the evaporator coil to avoid making it freeze. This precise control of refrigerant performance comfort and energy efficient of the air conditioning system. Carrier TXVs are used in residential and commercial heat pumps and air conditioners. Its small allow for and the or braze connection type provides a seal in the refrigerant line.
