Description
The Carrier EA36UZ098 is a Thermal Expansion Valve that is across a range of cooling systems such as air conditioning systems, heat pumps and rooftop units. That is an essential part that controls flow rate of refrigerant based on changes in temperature. The TXV has a bi-metal spring which expands when the temperature increases in the evaporator coil. This expansion causes the valve to open up and so there is a freezing mixture that takes more of the refrigerant to achieve this freezing so as to makeup for the lost refrigerant that has evaporated into gas and has been sent up the tube. when the temperature goes low, the spring also becomes compacted hence reducing the flow of refrigerant.
