Description
The Carrier 343307-401 Inducer Gasket is an ordinary part, but it is significant in your Carrier furnace. The seal is a specialized one, usually about 4″ X 6″ in size and only 0.2″ thick. Made of black, tough material, it is located between the inducer assembly and furnace plenum and fits perfectly. This is vital because the inducer is in charge of pulling the air used in combustion processes into the furnace. By sealing off all points of air loss, the Inducer Gasket makes sure that proper airflow is created to draw into the furnace and thus allows for proper combustion and in the long run helps your furnace maintain the right temperatures.
