The Carrier 336836-701 is a Condensate Trap small part in many HVAC systems especially in furnaces. Moisture during operation of the furnaces is produced as a result of combustion processes. This moisture deposits itself in water and has to be removed from the system in the most appropriate manner to enhance it’s drainage avoiding incidences of clogging or harm to the system.The condensate trap is in fact a separator that captures condensate while at the same time letting the air flow freely thus producing a compact system. This moisture condenses into water, which needs to be drained efficiently to prevent clogs and potential to the system.
