The Carrier 325501-401 Sound Blanket is a component exclusively created to minimize the noise made by particular HVAC systems, such as outdoor condensing units. This sound blanket is made up of thick sound insulating material, usually fiberglass or some other composite material having a hard wearing outer skin. The various functions are achieved through the fact that the blanket is able to minimize the compressor and other components’ internal vibrations as well as the sound waves that accompany them within the condensing unit.
