The Burnham Boiler 103310-01 Repair-Flame Sensor & Gasket Kit makes it possible to have Burnham boilers run optimally and is a critical Burnham boiler part. This package has a flame gasket and sensor for fixing or replacing worn out or parts in Burnham boilers. It is a thin stainless steel probe which is exclusively to check whether there is flame within the boiler’s combustion chamber. This sensor gives a little electrical current when this sensor is in contact of heat emitted by the flame of the burner. The sensor allows the control system of the boiler to stop the supply of the fuel in the event that the flame is blown out preventing hazardous situations such like gas build up in HVAC system.
