Description
The Browning 2VP60X7/8 Variable Pitch Sheave is designed for HVAC systems. This sheave has two grooves and an outside diameter of 6” with a bore diameter of 7/8”. Made of cast iron, it has stable working performance and a long service life. Variable pitch sheaves such as this one provide a simple method of controlling the speed of driven machinery by varying the effective diameter of the sheave. This is done either by changing the position of the sheave halves along the axis to vary the pitch diameter of the sheave or the possible speed ratio.
