Description
The Browning 1VP75X Variable Pitch Sheave is used in HVAC systems. This single-groove sheave is made of cast iron and has a 1-5/8” bore diameter and a 7.50” diameter. It offers a simple method of varying the speed of driven equipment without varying the motor speed. The position of the belt on the sheave determines the effective diameter and hence the speed ratio and hence the output speed of the driven component. An essential application, this flexibility is favorable in HVAC applications which requires speed control of fans, blowers, and other apparatus to bolster overall functionality and energy efficiency.
