Description
The Browning 1VP71X7/8 Variable Pitch Sheave used in HVAC systems. It has an outside diameter of 7.10″, bore size of 7/8″, and fits one groove. Made of cast iron this sheave is durable and is capable of giving reliable service. Variable pitch sheaves operate through the change of the effective diameter of the pulley which in turn changes the speed factor between the driven elements. It makes it easier in the control of the speed of parts like fans and blowers of the HVAC systems to better regulate the amount of air flow, and rates of heating or cooling desired.
