Description
The Browning 1VP44X7/8 Variable Pitch Sheave intended for use in power transmission HVAC systems. It is constructed from cast iron and has an outside diameter of 4.15″ and a bore of 7/8″. This sheave has the ability to change the pitch diameter in order to provide step-less speed changes within a certain range and the ability to be used in a number of applications. Advantages include increased motor and mechanical efficiency, decreased energy use, and increased machine performance because of proper matching of speeds. This sheave is widely used in agricultural implements, industrial appliances, and other apparatus where speed variation is desirable.
