Description
The Browning 1VP34X7/8 Sheave is a mechanical product used for power transmission applications in HVAC systems. This cast iron sheave has a diameter of 3.15 inches and a 7/8 inch bore for specific shaft sizes. In air handling units and rooftop units, sheaves are made up of belt drives that transmit power from a motor to a fan blower. The turn of the sheave of the pipe then turns the belt which in turn turns the fan to generate airflow through the system. A high-quality cast iron construction is used for the purpose to give long life to the system and therefore increasing the efficiency of the HVAC equipment and decreasing their life cycle cost.
