The Browning 1VP25X1/2 Variable Pitch Sheave, that is used to control the speed of belt driven applications. This model has a diameter of 2.5″, a bore of 1/2″ and one groove for the belt. It is made of cast iron and is built for industrial applications. In HVAC systems, these sheaves are often used in fans and blowers, to have airflow control. Which varying the effective diameter of the sheave, the speed of the fan or blower can be either increased or decreased. This has advantages like; better flow of air, better energy control to meet the required output and better performance of the system.
