The Browning 1VL25X1/2 Variable Pitch Sheave was used to control the speed of driven equipment. It has a 2.5” diameter, a 1/2” bore, and is made of cast iron with one groove, which makes it possible to choose a belt and the drive ratio. The diameter of the sheave, the output speed of connected HVAC equipments such as fans, blowers, and pumps can be regulated with high accuracy. These benefits include efficiency in the flow of air, energy conservation since the output is made to correspond with the demand, and low levels of noise production.
