Description
The Bosch HVAC 8735100892 Anode Rod protects the internal metal surfaces of compatible water-heating equipment by providing a disposable metal element for corrosion reactions. Its M8 thread provides the specified mounting connection, while the 400 mm length and 33 mm diameter provide the required structural size for installation inside the compatible water vessel. The anode rod gradually reacts with corrosive elements in the stored water instead of the protected tank surfaces. It installs through the corresponding threaded opening inside the water-heating equipment in HVAC systems. This action reduces corrosion of the tank interior and supports continued water-heater operation during normal heating cycles.
