Description
The Bosch HVAC 8733941857 High Pressure Switch is used to monitor refrigerant pressure levels in cooling and heat pump systems. In HVAC systems, it works as safety equipment that opens the electrical control circuit when discharge pressure exceeds a specified limit helping protect the compressor from overload conditions. It is typically installed on refrigerant lines within outdoor, or air conditioning heat pump units, where it provides automatic shutdown capability during abnormal operating pressures. The component supports system protection and operational safety in residential and light commercial applications.
