Description
The Bosch HVAC 8733908276 Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) Kit is a refrigerant metering system that is used to control the flow of the evaporator coil of air conditioning and heat pump HVAC systems. It has a sensing bulb and diaphragm system to adjust the flow according to the state of superheat keeping the refrigerant pressure and temperature at a proper level to absorb heat. This is installed in the liquid line in front of the evaporator with the specifications of the fittings to support the performance of the evaporator and prevent the flood-back of the liquid to the compressor.
