Description
The Bosch HVAC 63025436 Rope Seal 14X1855 GP creates airtight barriers in heating equipment assemblies. This flexible gasket material prevents combustion gases from escaping through joints, seams, and access panels where metal surfaces meet. The rope seal withstands high temperatures while maintaining its sealing properties around burner compartments, heat exchangers, and inspection doors in HVAC systems. The braided or twisted construction allows the material to compress into irregular gaps, conforming to surface variations for effective closure. This component ensures proper draft conditions, prevents backdrafting, and maintains safe operation by containing flue gases within designated pathways while blocking unwanted air infiltrations.
