Description
The Belimo AFX24-S-N4 is a spring-return on/off shutter actuator used to control airflow in HVAC systems. It can run on 24V AC or DC power and produces 180 in-lb of torque, which enables it to be used with a variety of damper sizes. This actuator is powered by an on- or off-sign electrical signal. When the internal motor is turned on, it rotates a shaft, which then uses a linkage system to open or close the linked damper blade. By guaranteeing that the damper automatically returns to its initial position in the event of a power outage, the spring-return feature keeps the system in a safe state.
