Description
The Bard HVAC 8552-050BX 2-1/2″ Capacitor 40/5 MFD/370V regulates electrical energy flow for compressor and fan motor operation by maintaining proper phase balance during continuous equipment cycling. Its dual-run capacitor design stores and releases electrical charge to support smooth motor rotation and stable current delivery within HVAC systems such as air conditioners, condensing units, rooftop equipment, and heat pump assemblies. This component is mounted inside the electrical control compartment and connected to compatible motor terminals requiring 40/5-microfarad capacitance. Its operation improves motor efficiency, reduces uneven electrical loading, and supports consistent cooling performance.
