Description
The Bard HVAC 8407-034BX Transformer is a control component rated at 40 VA, designed to step down 208/240 VAC to 24 VAC for low-voltage control circuits in compatible wall-mounted and packaged units in HVAC systems. It is installed inside the electrical compartment and supplies 24V power to control components such as thermostats, relays, contactors, and safety switches. As part of the electrical control system, it works as the power source for the low-voltage logic and control network, enabling coordinated operation of heating, cooling, and ventilation operation in supported equipment.
