Description
The Bard HVAC 5651-242 Expansion Valve, with 3/8” X 3/8” connections, is used in HVAC systems. It regulates the amount of refrigerator gas that enters the evaporator coil. Through this process the refrigerant pressure is decreased and its temperature also decreases hence allowing it collect heat from the indoor air as required. Such precise control enhances system effectiveness and minimizes energy use and cooling capacity. Some of the advantages of using this expansion valve include; improved system efficiency, stability in cooling, and better indoor conditions. It enhances operation of HVAC subsystems in general with regards to energy efficiency and equipment durability.
