Description
The ASCO 8158A236X1X0000 Proof-of-Closure Valve is capable of handling large volume of gas flow and gives a mechanical confirmation of the position of the valve in order to control the assurance. This 2-inch high-flow valve is used in HVAC systems like combustion air supply and gas-fired heating equipment to ensure complete closure with an inbuilt position-sensing mechanism before the system can operate. It acts as a protection interlock in the control sequence, aids in the correct startup conditions, and confirms shutoff and consistent operation of burners and other related heating elements.
